About this item
Included: Dried Soursop Leaves (You selected)
Soursop leaves are typically brewed into a tea, which is thought to offer a variety of benefits.
These leaves are harvested from my personal soursop cultivation. No chemicals, pesticides, or harmful substances were used in the growing and harvesting of the soursop. The leaves are picked naturally, dried naturally, and undergo a packing process.
Making soursop leaf tea is straightforward. Here is a basic recipe to assist you:
Ingredients:
• 5-10 soursop leaves
• 4 cups of water
• Optional: sweeteners like honey or sugar, to taste
Instructions:
1. Rinse the soursop leaves in cold water.
2. Put a saucepan on medium-high heat and bring the water to a boil.
3. Once the water is boiling, add the soursop leaves to the pot.
4. Reduce the heat to a simmer and allow the leaves to sit in the water for 10-15 minutes. This allows the water to absorb the flavors and nutrients from the leaves.
5. Once the tea has simmered, remove the pot from the heat and let it cool.
6. Strain the leaves from the tea using cheesecloth or a fine-mesh sieve. The leaves may be composted or discarded.
7. Sweeten the tea with honey or sugar to taste and whisk until the sugar dissolves.
8. Pour the hot soursop leaf tea into glasses or cups.
9. Enjoy your homemade tea made from soursop leaves!
Note: By adjusting the steeping time and the quantity of leaves used, you can alter the strength of the tea. For enhanced flavor and nutritional benefits, feel free to experiment with adding various herbs or spices.
